ABSTRACTS AND PUBLICATIONS
Authors are required to submit the abstracts for contributed papers. One page length abstracts must contain sufficient information to enable reffering. On this basis, the International Program Committee will select the contributed papers for oral or poster presentation.
Please submit your abstracts to shs2001@ism.ac.ru as an attached file in MS Word version 2000, 97, 95, 6.0, or ASCII text. Do not encode or compress the text.

The deadline for paper submission is January 15, 2002.
A final program and book of abstracts will be awaiting all delegates upon their arrival. In addition, the papers presented at the Symposium will be published (after refereeing) in International Journal of Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis. Posters should not be larger than 100 cm wide and 120 cm high.
