Setup for research of high-speed high-temperature exothermic reactions in condensed systems by an Electro Thermal Explosion method (ETE)

In institute ISM RAS an original method for research of high-speed high-temperature reactions in condensed systems, based on fast uniform bulk heating of researched substance by direct passing of an electrical current through a sample with subsequent intensive self-heating, stipulated by exothermic reaction of explosive conversion is developed.
