We are pleased to inform you that the upcoming XV International Symposium on Explosive Production of New Materials: Science, Technology, Business and Innovations (EPNM-2020) will be held in Beijing, China on May 11-14, 2020.

 

The meeting will be organized by Merzhanov Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science, Russian Academy of Sciences (ISMAN, Chernogolovka, Russia) and Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT, Beijing, China).

 

The Symposium topics outline recent advancements in explosion/combustion-aided production of materials as an important branch of modern science and technology. The event will be a meeting place for scientists and engineers active in the field of shock- and detonation-assisted synthesis/modification of materials, explosive strengthening and welding of metals, and explosion-mediated consolidation of powders, composite and nanostructured materials.

 

The venue of the EPNM-2020 Symposium will be at the Lecture Hall of Building 6, Science Park, Beijing Institute of Technology: http://english.bit.edu.cn/

The Organizing Committee of EPNM-2020 is looking forward to seeing in Beijing the attendants from the previous Symposia held in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg), the Netherlands, Montenegro, France, Poland, and Portugal. A warm welcome will be given also to new members of the international community involved in explosive production of materials.
