Pleased to inform that the oncoming XIV International Symposium on Explosive Production of New Materials: Science, Technology, Business and Innovations (EPNM-2018) will be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia on May 14-18, 2018.

 

The meeting will be organized by Merzhanov Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science, Russian Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka, Moscow Region) and "EnergoMetal" Ltd (St. Petersburg).

 

The Symposium topics outline recent advancements in explosion/combustion-aided production of materials as an important branch of modern science and technology. The event will be a meeting place for scientists and engineers active in the field of shock- and detonation-assisted synthesis/modification of materials, explosive strengthening and welding of metals, and explosion-mediated consolidation of powders, composite and nanostructure materials.

The venue of the symposium EPNM-2018 will be the Hotel "Saint-Petersburg" located in the historical part of the St. Petersburg city http://www.hotel-spb.com/hotel-spb-com.nsf/main/en.

 

The Organizing Committee of EPNM-2018 is looking forward to seeing in amazing St. Petersburg the attendants from the previous Symposia held in Moscow, the Netherlands, Montenegro, France, Poland, and Portugal.
