We are pleased to inform you that the oncoming XII International Symposium on Explosive Production of New Materials: Science, Technology, Business and Innovations (EPNM-2014) will be held in Cracow, Poland, May 25 to 30, 2014.

The meeting will be organized by Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISMAN) and Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science (IMIM) of Polish Academy of Sciences. Partner General of Symposium is the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs RUSNANO GROUP.

The symposium will be held in the historical part of Cracow.

The Symposium topics outline basic achievements in explosive production of materials as an important branch of modern science and technology. It will be a meeting place for scientists and engineers active in the field shock- and detonation-assisted synthesis/modification of materials, explosive strengthening and explosive welding of metals, and explosion-mediated consolidation of powders and composite materials.

The Organizing Committee of EPNM-2014 is looking forward to seeing in Cracow the attendants to the previous Symposia held in Russia, the Netherlands, Montenegro, and France. Warm welcome will be given also to new members of the international community involved in explosive production of materials.
