The Handbook describes the methods for determining the properties and producing metal powders and powder materials. The methods of obtaining, properties, chemical composition, areas of application of hard alloys, structural, porous magnetic, electrical, tribotechnical materials, heavy, dispersion-strengthened alloys and products made of them have also been reviewed. The domestic regulatory documents concerning the main sections of powder metallurgy have been summarized and commented on; the information on the degree of compliance of such documents with the international standards has been given. The Handbook is intended for the consumers of metal powders and powder materials: researchers, metallurgists, metal experts, technologists and designers. It will be useful for students and postgraduates as well.
