School students of the Municipal Educational Institution I.M. Khalatnikov Comprehensive Secondary School № 75 visited ISMAN with a study tour

On November 14 and 19, 2019 a study tour for the school students of the Municipal Educational Institution I.M. Khalatnikov Comprehensive Secondary School № 75 was organized at ISMAN. For 3 “B” school students an experimental presentation of amazing chemical and physical experiments with fire with a scientific explanation thereof was organized. For 7 “B” school students there was arranged an informative conversation about the discovery of the phenomenon of solid flame by the academician A.G. Merzhanov and his colleagues, its advantages and capabilities, main directions of research carried out by the Institute, new materials and products made by SHS methods. At the end of the tour the school students were shown an explosive chamber from the inside and were also told that using the explosion new materials and products could be made.
